My favorite way to practice lettering isn’t with repetitive drills but instead with quotes so that’s what I’m giving you guys. If you want boring drills, you can take all that somewhere else. Here you’re going to get fun quotes. Always!

Do you want to learn hand lettering?
If you’re checking out these practice pages because you’re interested in hand lettering and want to get some practice in, DON’T GO AT IT ALONE.
I’ve got a whole self-paced e-course all about hand lettering.
My e-course will teach you the basics such as the parts of a letter, the differences between calligraphy, hand lettering, and typography, and how to find inspiration from other artists and typefaces.
I’ll teach you all about the basics of brush lettering, how to hold your brush tipped utensil, how to make letters, and common issues that you might face on your journey.
I’ll also teach you all about faux calligraphy and what that means as an artist. I’ll show you how to make your faux calligraphy look professional even if you just started last week.
And! I will walk you through TWO lettering projects that you’ll love.
What else? Oh, and I give you 75+ quality practice pages that I made myself so I know they’re amazing. 10 practice pages JUST with strokes, and then the rest are brush lettering and faux calligraphy practice.
If you’ve been on the fence about learning how to letter, just starting out, or you feel kind of stuck in your journey, this is the course for you.
#15Quotes30Days Practice Pages: “Nature is the art of God”
Edited 9/28/2017 – Okay so I apparently get this search a lot. Children in high school or middle school don’t understand what ‘nature is the art of God’ means. It means that nature is God’s canvas, nature is what god created. God is the artist, nature is the product. You could say nature is the “face” of God, but I don’t believe in a separate God. I think nature is the miracle. The miracle is how we were created from tiny cells. How diverse our world is, from plans, herbivores, and carnivores. How, uninhibited, every breathing thing on this earth does what it needs to do to exist.
Anyway, for everyone else that’s not a child in school: Are you ready to jump start your lettering journey with some regular practice?
You should be.
This quote is a preview of my #15quotes30days project. 15 quotes, 30 days, tons of practice. Because it’s just good for you.
Check out the whole project for September here.
