Here’s what I got for ya. This week I have some awesome cellphone and desktop wallpaper. I even made it galaxy version for maximum enjoyment. I’ll be honest, with the end of the year quickly approaching and this small business thing going slowly, I’ve been a little down lately. I’m not one of those people that’s super into motivational quotes. I mean I like them, but I’m not into things like “girl boss” and “hustle hard”, I like quotes that make you think, or at least remind you to actually take action and aren’t things that are better off on workout tshirts.   Check outRead More →

I feel like every artist goes through a pop art phase and this is mine. I have a love for things that look like they’re screen printed or done with traditional media while still done digitally. That’s one of my absolute favorite design aesthetics. I also LOVE LOVE pop art designs.   So from the archives I have for y’all some pop art kitchen prints. If you want to know how to incorporate these into your life, my tip would be a modern kitchen with these guys as a nice pop of color. It’ll make people think you have style even if you have NORead More →

I’m always looking for new quotes to letter because it’s my main method of practicing. I used to go for general quotes by topic, but now I’m enjoying discovering new artists and poets. e. e. cummings isn’t new but he just has absolutely beautiful quotes.   Here are three of my favorites.   I secretly love nursery art. I don’t know why because I don’t really plan on having children, but I just love creating nursery art. I whipped up these guys just for fun. I love the colors that I used and I tried to keep them sort of gender neutral even though it says “he” and “she”. I just didn’t want to make them pink and blue, y’know! Am I a dork because I love this quote? I mean, all right, I’m probably a dork anyway, but I feel like it’s the cutest quote and everyone needs to remember to be themselves!   What I love about this quote is that it acknowledges that the world, so to speak, is already beautiful (because roses are beautiful), but that this one particular person– who ever that awesome woman is– stands out because she’s a wildflower. I don’t know, I’m lame.   Anyway! I have so many more free art posts, click the link before to go to the archives.   Check out MORE FreeRead More →

cactus desktop wallpaper

My favorite thing about having a computer is changing the background from that dreadful factory setting to something way more festive and cute.  Currently, I’ve been on a cactus run.  I love doodling them and the other day I whipped up this cutie and thought he’d be adorable to look at every time I opened my computer. So that’s what I did.  I made him into some wallpaper. But not just wallpaper… I also made him into a cellphone case A mug And a sweatshirt.   All of those you can check out in my STORE along with lots of other cute accessories, prints,Read More →

Congratulations! You have made it through another week (or another day if it’s not Friday) and it’s time for free art again! With the start of school and the end of summer days, I’ve been feeling extra antsy.  I’m not even in school and I feel weirdly tied down to one place and all I want is to be out in the world! Crazy, right? Anyway– and I also got on this brush lettering kick. Do you know how you get better at something? You do it and do it until it becomes second nature.  I’ve been meaning to get better at brush letteringRead More →
